Transport - tigerair Australia Review

We got 'lucky' with our flight to Sydney as the previous flight was delayed for 4 hours and the following flight was cancelled...

We have flown tigerair once before on a previous trip to Australia and that was also okay. Overall it is a good budget airline if you manage to board and depart on time; just a basic service that gets you from A to B. Luggage was $25AUD for 20kg which is reasonable, and the base fare itself was okay. The debit card charge is a bit ludicrous on the other hand. The leg room and seat allocation (we didn't prepay) all worked out relatively well and the flight landed on time.

But, as per the title, I think this airline is very hit and miss. You won't know if your flight has been cancelled or delayed until the day with tigerair. If you're flexible or booking last minute then this airline is suitable, however if you're intending on catching a connecting flight or have specific time constraints then I reckon tigerair is a bit of a risk.
