When we visited it was very busy; it was a Saturday just before midday, and it also happened to be leap day. It is quite hard to move around and fully appreciate all the stalls and shops when it is so busy, but equally it creates a good atmosphere and emphasizes why this is a place worth visiting. On our trip throughout the U.S. we frequented quite a few farmers markets, however this was probably the best of the bunch. Pike Place Market was certainly the largest market and it had the most varied range of stalls; you could find tonnes of standard but also quirky and unique products here!
The market is situated in a nice area as well, easily accessible, and located opposite the original Starbucks, and also an amazing chowder vendor where I enjoyed the best clam chowder I have ever had!
It goes without saying, if you're visiting Seattle then you have to visit Pike Place Market.
