Busy but beautiful

Kata beach is very popular with large numbers of tourists but for good reason!
The sand was soft with no large/sharp rocks. The sea was a nice temperature, somewhat clear but there was rogue seaweed.
The beach is also within walking distance to lots of amenities and restaurants which is great.
The sunset is especially spectacular at Kata Beach, overall we would recommend it.
