We came to the post office after reading good reviews on TA and it did not disappoint. The building itself has lovely architecture and is very spacious inside.
We decided to send postcards back to the UK to our families after witnessing others doing the same thing. We bought the postcards and stamps there and they had small tables and pens to use inside.
The postcards were 5000 VND each and the stamp was 20000 VND to send the postcard from Vietnam to the UK. I doubted whether it would actually arrive because it was so cheap! Our families received our postcards 5 days after we sent them!!! (And there was no extra cost imposed by Royal Mail etc.)
I recommend visiting just to see the building, and I'd say it's definitely worth posting a letter to loved ones abroad if time permits.
